Mark Gregory

Mark has occupied senior executive roles across a range of industry sectors during the last twenty years. With a Bachelor of Business Degree and formal qualifications in accounting as a CPA, Mark’s role before recently joining Cudeco was six years as the CEO of the Walz Group, an industrial construction company servicing the resources sector of Australia and PNG. Mark entered the resources sector in 2006 through his own consultancy business, where he acted on a number of Boards and provided strategic consulting advice to a range of mining services companies.

The earlier part of Mark’s career was in media where he spent eight years with Network Ten, culminating in four years heading up Network Ten in Brisbane. This was followed by four years with the Ray White Property Group of Australasia as Director of Finance / Director of Strategy & Corporate Development. Mark has now spent eleven years in the Australian resources sector with a focus on maximizing organizational performance and value.

Gongyang Jiang

With a Master of Metallurgical Engineering qualification from the University of Science and Technology in Beijing, Jiang worked for Sinosteel for 13 years before he joined Cudeco.  For the past ten years he was employed as a director with Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co. Ltd in order to develop their overseas business.   This included mining projects located in Brazil, South Africa, Chile, Turkey and Australia.  Jiang has been involved with the Rocklands project since 2010 in his capacity as a director of Sinosteel and was responsible for overseeing the building of the processing plant at the Rocklands site in Cloncurry.  Jiang was appointed C.O.O. of Cudeco at the beginning of March 2017.

Joe Skrypniuk

Joe Skrypniuk joined the company at the end of October 2016 as Deputy General Manager.

Joe has 38 years of experience in managing process plants, both concentrators and smelters. He previously held roles as Processing Manager at the Bozshakol copper concentrator, Kazakhstan – a 30MTPA new copper concentrator. Formerly he held the position of Process Manager at Boddington and at the KCGM Gold Mine, two of Australia’s largest  gold producers. In addition Joe managed processing plants at Alumbrera (Argentina)and Jinfeng Gold Mine (PRC) for Sino Gold Ltd. He is a Metallurgical Engineering graduate of the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College London, Fellow of the AusIMM and a Chartered Engineer (IOM3).

David Wilson

Hands-on innovator with diverse background spanning multiple industries including; architectural specialist; traditional prospector; full-time day-trader and most recently 11 years in senior roles steering the Rocklands Copper Project from discovery to production.

David has recently been tasked with oversight and compliance assessment of the Rocklands Operation Master Plan.

He is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the performance and efficiency of CuDeco’s producing assets and to identify, quantify and develop new business opportunities including; potential new mines; possible acquisition of assets synergistic with CuDeco’s strategic direction; and pursuing growth through directing exploration success.

One of the longest serving senior people at CuDeco, David joined the Company in 2006 during the initial exploration phase of the Rocklands Project and subsequently generated improved outcomes through directing or managing:

  • exploration, resource infill and deep diamond drilling programmes;
  • resource modelling and reserve estimation;
  • pit optimisation, mine and mill-feed scheduling;
  • feasibility studies including cash-flow, NPV and sensitivity analysis; and
  • design and implementation of Rocklands ore/grade-control systems.

Corporate responsibilities include client, broker, shareholder and stakeholder briefings and preparation of ASX Company Reports including Updates, Quarterlies, Half-yearly and Annual Reports. David contributes to the presentation of CuDeco and the Rocklands Project in the public and professional arena, including Rocklands site visits, analyst briefings and national and international roadshows.
